MANUSCRIPT EVALUATION
I can review your work and give holistic comments about its strengths and what it might need. Writers need to know whatʻs working as well as what needs fixing. Clients are able to take the comments and work independently, resulting in faster progress and much stronger drafts.

BOOK EDITING
For a book project, I write a proposal based a final draft and give a quote reliant on word count and genre. As part of the proposal, I do a sample edit of two or three pages of the draft to show how I work. (Drafts need to be double-spaced, in standard font, in Word or Pages format.) I do primarily developmental editing, which covers clarity, style, tone, organization, pacing, and any other areas that need attention.
If relevant, I may make occasional sentence-level comments, but developmental editing doesn't cover proofreading or grammar correction.
WRITING WORKSHOPS: I give writing workshops periodically, face-to-face, or online.
GRAMMAR FOR CREATIVE WRITERS: This is a workshop for writers who have questions about grammar and who'd like a simple review of sentence-level structure. The information helps, whether writing poetry or prose.
WHAT IS CONSCIOUS MARKETING?: If you have never felt comfortable with marketing, you might be interested in some of the new approaches a few marketers are taking.
